Can anyone recommend a hotel in Alanya/Antalaya, Turkey?
We're considering Turkey for our holiday at the end of September, we can fly from a small local airport but only to Antalaya.
I've been looking at hotels and the choice is baffling. I figured the best thing to do is see where fellow HUKDers have stayed and how they got on with it, and then see if we can afford it :P
We'd prefer to go all inclusive, but it doesn't have to be.
I'd love to hear which hotel you stayed in, if the area was good for your holiday and would you send a friend there!

now this was a long time ago but NOT a good holiday - we found Alanya was a dirty resort and beach - we found ICMELER near Marmaris much nicer.. with lovely beach and nice restaurnats ....also Olu Deniz comes very highly rec by a friend - Alanya was just awful really and main resort area wasn't good.

I'm being serious, been all around the world & Turkey is right down on the bottom. Opt for somewhere in Spain or Tenerife for a cheap hol or somewhere like Barbados or the US if you have a little more cash

side has some ruins i only stayed bed and breakfast in side so cant recommend a hotel

it maybe was 15-20 years ago but in the last 10 years or so its come on in leaps and bounds and id rather go to turkey than spain or tenerife which with the euro cost too much once your there ( i presume you went to marmaris )

it was one of the nicest hotels i have ever stayed in cant reccomend it enough, food was excellent, had a nice section of the beach and the whole place was very clean.
it was really reasonably priced around £350-375 a person all inc for a week, Thomas list it as one of there 5*'s.

They had a fresh cake stall which opened at 1pm every day, and a Wood burning pizza restaurant on the beach what was some of the best pizza i have ever had.
