Afternoon all.

Am wanting to buy a perfume as a present for a 50 odd year old woman but haven't a clue what may be a good/safe choice.

Can anyone recommend pleeeeeeeeeeeeease? Would be so grateful :-)

White linen by Estee Lauder is usually popular

I'm in the age bracket as well, I like
Ghost
Anna Sui Dreams
Marc Jacobs Daisy
but perfumes are a very subjective thing. What smells lovely on one may not on another.

Buy her a younger persons one, she may appreciate it a bit more than a traditional old farts scent. I don't see why a 50 yo shouldn't wear the same as a 20yo.tbh.

Is she a younger 50 something or a mumsy 50 something? Think this would make a difference on which perfume you choose

atar chumbali...or atar mothi

Issy - Issy miyake
elle - Yves StLaurent
Dune - Christian Dior
Addict - Christian Dior

But, as already mentioned, fragrances can smell different on different people. These are amongst my favourites, and friends have commented on how nice they are, but when they have worn them after testing them - they smell different.

Of course she should wear what she likes, but I am looking for a 'safe' choice :)
