I picked up a great one, near enough the same as the wilko deal but a bit nicer for 30 quid in my nearest big asda.

Worth a shot

Im pleased with mine

I was in Asda yesterday but they hadn't got any that were big enough to hold a 50

I got http://www.standanddeliver.com/acatalog/Stil-Stand_Cantilever_STUK-2053CHBL.html for my 50" plasma, it looks really really good and I fit my virgin box, xbox360 and ps3 on the shelf underneath it.

This is what it looks like with a soundbar (that fits nicely under the TV and hides the bar at the back)

That looks sweet but no stock at the moment. And I'd worry that it says up to 43"

I spoke to someone from that website and It says up to 43" because that is the width of the stand. If you look at the picture the TV is a bit wider than the stand, which I think looks fine.

That is not a TV stand or an entertainment unit, not what the op is looking for.

http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/491362/solid-oak-av-unit-99-97-pc-world/ was posted today, looks quite nice and may fit in with other furniture better than black/silver stands.

Why don't you put it on the wall, they look better.

Cheers mate thanks for the help. I went with the darker cabinet type for under £50.

I'm afraid to put one up myself after seeing that ad where it falls off lol

But I am renting at the moment so don't want to put holes in wall and need somewhere for all my consoles
