Can anyone recommend good DSi games for a 7 year old girl?

I have managed to get a bargain DSi, but I haven't a clue to what games to get. I would rather go on recommendations, as I know they have been tried, tested, and hopefully loved. Thanks in advance. Read More

My daughter loves the 'Imagine'games e.g teacher, babies etc. I had a go at them too and became addicted! If she is into animals the 'I love Horses' game is good, lots of similar ones to this.

Might be worth investing in a DSTT card, Plus a Micro SD to store the games on.

You can then download what ever game you want for free...!!!

A little technical but relatively easy.

Animal Crossing is superb (even Grandma is addicted), Club Penguin and any LEGO games. My Simms Kingdom is another good one too

all depends on what she is into and how good at games, my 5 yr old has disney princess game, tinkerbell, spongebob squarepants, mario kart , rythmn paradise (constantly on that at the mo), yoshi touch & go, drawn to life, super princess peach, mario ds, new super mario bros.

she loves them all there are just sooo many games the list couldnever end. would def recommend rythmn paradise though my little girl has played it to completion and still plays it evertime she turns on the console atthe mo. it is totally addictive

It's funny how no one has actually suggested a DSi game. :-D

So, not all games for DS are compatable with DSi? What is the difference? Was looking for a few, and the packaging looked the same, but some said can't be played on DSi. Hmmmm.

She is very bright for a 7year old ( well, she's not quite 7 yet), and can whoop me on the Wii, so I guess she will get to grips with her new 'toy' at Xmas quite well.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions.
