can i cash a cheque for my boyfriend...

He has a couple of cheques to be cashed ..

one for £1000 another for £50 and the last £30

Can i cash them for him ? he just doesnt have the time ... Would i be able to if i had his card and some of his I.D?

If by cash you mean deposit into his account then yes.

If the cheque doesn't say account payee on it then you can put it into your account if he signs it over to you.

you sound like you are being really dodgy now lol....as long as it is in his name you can put as much as you want into his account without id or anything.

you are deposting, why would they need to know anything, although my friend put cash into her daughters account and the cashier asked who she was in relationship to the accountee, maybe because she had her bank book, i dont know, that was at the alliance and leicester

I lodge cheques for my parents all the time, never had any trouble or questions - You're putting it in for them, not taking it out - I wouldn't mind someone paying money into my account :p
