providing its new.
#2
well it's not new but not in use either with legit serial
#3
dont you have to sell it with hardware components too?
#4
Thats what i an trying to find out....I could always sell it with a piece of hardware. Just don't want to break any forum rules again LOL
#5
If its been used but no longer is there may be trouble re-activating it as it is more than likely tied to the mobo on the system it was previously on.
#6
If thats the case the person buying (if i am allowed to sell it on here) could always rimg MS via the 0800 number and get it activated by saying they have changed their hard drive or mobo. I've done it loads of times with other systems.

I've never phoned them with this disc tho

mmm... that hardware could probably be a pair of screws! or even one!
#8
Lets not get carried away on this please. All i want to know is if i can sell in over on the fs/ft forum
#9
xp or vista?
#10
Not really, if its already been installed on a system it can only be sold with that system - even if Microsoft might let you reinstall it you would still probably be breaking the license agreement...

Strictly speaking you shouldn't be able to, and some sites actively enforce it, although some don't bother...

Yup - and if hardware companies sell them - I cant see the harm in a forum, providing it comes with the valid sticker and SN.

This was raised some time back - but no one bothered to answer and clarify.

If it's a genuine disc and unused serial number it would be okay, but as it's already been installed on a system, think we have to say no, sorry.
