Id personally say its already over priced, as it will probably go for over £100, and its only what about £10-£20 more to get a new one. But I could be wrong.

using stock photo for a start, not actual picture of the item, you cant see the condition

I've used prepaymania and they have seemed fine to purchase off of. But obviously it might not go much higher, I was just thinking what it will finish on, and whether you will have any warranty. Then you also have the problems of not even some real photos.

I think I have used them on about 3 occasions, and bought about 7-9 phones. Usually buy their cheap ones when they are stupidly cheap and sell them to cex at a profit! :-D

yes my friend bought a second hand sony a couple of years back within a week it was knackered.

I would never bid off anyone who makes their listings private. To me it makes their feedback worthless. It could be for 150 1p items. I can't think of a genuine reason why anyone would make their listings private.
#20
It's not so bad if its a big saving as you know the risks and its the chance you take,
But when it gets close to the sale price of a brand new item it's riskier,
i personally think its better to have the warranty.

Suppose, see what it goes to and weigh up wether you personally feel its the right deal for you.

Good luck if you decide to bid !
#21
have you tried www.freeads.co.uk?? Then search by distance from you - i've picked up some very reasonable priced phones for family on there - much cheaper then ebay and you go and see the items before paying?

Yeah, that puts me off.

Only understand private listings if its items of a certain nature that you dont want people to know you're buying. :whistling::-D

Otherwise i dont see the point, if you've nothing to hide then why make it private ?

At Christmas I sell perfumes and giftsets, and set them as private so gf's / wives can't see what they have been bought (only started doing this after being asked numerous times!). So not always dodgy :?

that's probably true, scousers go to work when it gets dark so no one can see them stealing, i guess it is hard trying to take a picture while attempting to hot-wire a nova
