OFT site says "Under the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act, it is illegal to re-sell football tickets unless expressly authorised."

If anyone can prove me wrong then by all means, please do...

Bit harsh it being removed of here Ducky. People have sold England tickets on here before............this is the point i raised in comments. It's one rule for one and one for another on this site lately and it's completely wrong. :-(

To be fair Syzable we weren't aware it was illegal before and now we are. So it's not "one rule for one and one for another". Before anyone was allowed because we didn't know and now no-one is allowed because we do. It would be an odd argument to bring to the law courts that because in 1765 it was legal to do marry your sister you should be able to do so now because otherwise the courts are arbitrary.... (ok so I don't think that was a law but you get my point hopefully).

I know what you're saying but talking about marrying family as an example is just wrong..... sounds like someone has impure thoughts. :giggle:

You can't marry your sister??................try telling some of the yocals in the Fens near me that. :giggle:

To be fair though, there are other examples in the For Sale boards where some people get away with things and others don't and it can't be because it's been missed as i report them all. But anyway, we've been there and discussed it before and i'm not really that bothered. :) I'm happy in my own little world. :giggle:

What about selling a large brown envelope which has a free ticket inside? Is thta allowed anywhere? I remember thats what people did when they were selling there champions league final tickets at huge price. Also I think there are still tickets left for the England matches so you will prob find it hard to sell.

Thats a good idea!, Technically your not selling the ticket, But the envelope....

Sure HUKD rules even allow an envelope to be sold....
