Hi all,

As title really.

Got a new Blackberry Storm on upgrade, however initial reaction is it is not new. There is marks on screen etc

Also, inbox has one email thanking me for registering. This was received in November?

Is there a way of telling if it is a refurb?

Thanks in advance

if its got visible marks or scratches then they are the tell tale signs, also if the seal is broken do not accept it

Oooo thinking about it...mine came similar! And the seal was broken! I think I'm going to take mine back though

The seal was not broken, but it just doesn't feel new.

Got it from an telephone upgrade.

if its got marks on it and an email dated ages ago, it can't be new. I'd send it back.

Yeah that sounds exactly what the previous owner of the phone has done hence the marks.

I think there's a code you can type into the phone to see how many minutes / hours of talk time have been used on the phone
