Can somebody help find the owner of a site?

Looking for some help please. Used to be a member of amazoncashback.co.uk and they owed me quite a bit of money, then all of a sudden the site vanished, gone, vamooshed. I contacted amazon and got this reply -

Amazoncashback.co.uk is generated by third-party ad networks, and not by Amazon.co.uk. As such, Amazon.co.uk is not involved with this offer from a different website and unfortunately we will not be able to assist you further with your query.

The only trace left on the net is cached pages. Can you help or have I been scammed?

Thanks!

I think their CS is brilliant and would choose them as would most people on here before Play.com/Zavvi etc

Depends whether you are a seller or a buyer. I also think they are great for buying, but selling is a different story.

Amazon is excellent, CS amazing, a great company, but then that is only my opinion :)

I thought you were not allowed to use Amazon deals for cashback? Maybe that is why they were shut down.

It was just like quidco/topcashback. Same layout but they were paying more for the car insurance I took out hence why I went with them.

They will have been cowboys as you are not allowed to use Amazon deals for cashback sites.

At first glance, they look like a third party company but look at the nameservers they use:

Name servers:
ns-1.amazon.com
ns-2.amazon.com

Can't be unrelated to Amazon themselves if the site uses name servers on the Amazon.com top level domain.

Hmmm, interesting. That would explain how they were allowed to promote Amazon goods for chasback if they ran it themselves.

I can't seem to find anything on them regarding any feedback or unhappy customers from the past or anything. There is usually someone who has something to say about a company somewhere on the net, especially one of this nature if they closed down and did not pay anyone, you would expect loads and loads of posts about it but for this one there is nothing.
