probably not a good idea to buy something from someone whos been suspended, is it?

People can get suspended for something simple, it doesn't necessarily mean they are likely to rip you off. you just have to wait really and see what happens when they return.

Depends why they've been suspended, is there anyway I can find out why they have been?

people on here don't only get suspended for dodgy trading.. if anything, that results in a ban. I've seen people be suspended for the most random of things, the FS/FT rules are very specific and a suspension can result for getting even something silly wrong..

or it may have nothing to do with any of that.

or they may be about to rip you off for every penny they can.

you probably won't know why they were suspended, but it doesn't mean you should definitely not deal with them, just be more cautious than usual... don't use paypal gift etc...

Sky viewing cards are linked to a particular address and Sky box.

If you buy a card, then find it wont work in your box, you are stuck (you cannot report it).

Also, you may buy the card, and it may work at first, but then Sky realise it has been sold and cancel the card and you are left with no working channels (after all it may be stolen).

I would also guess it is against sky policy to "sell" a Sky viewing card.

I think the seller has only received a 1 day suspension. :)
