Hi

I'm trying to lose weight and I'm concerned I'm not getting enough protein in my very low calorie diet. I am eating lots of veg and some pulses and a little fruit and meat but not enough to provide myself with sufficient protein. I'm not doing any intense training just about 30 - 90 mins on an exercise bike per day.

I want a low calorie protein shake with a good ballance of amino acids. I want the highest protein to calorie ratio. 50 grams of pure protein is 200Kcal so I want something that comes as close to this as possible without it being totally tasteless and chalky.

Thanks in advance.

you want to lose weight brah?

start lifting weights and doing cardio after.

Also maybe get diet in order before looking towards supplements like whey.
Tuna, skinless chicken breasts, and turkey breasts are all good lean meats with good protein content.

Also how many cals you having a day?

5 days a week I have 800 Kcals and 2 days a week I have 1200-1500 Kcals. I do eat chicken and fish (I have about 7 kilos of cod in my freezer right now) but for example 100g raw chicken has about 22g protein but has 120 Kcals. I think some types of whey protein have about about 22g top quality protein in about 25g powder for about 100 Kcals. The formula will have a better ballance of amino acids, doesnt require cooking and cheaper per gram of protein.

When consuming so few calories the body has lower energy available for exercise. I want to lose 10 kilo and get my BMI down to under 25 then I will increase my calorie intake and do more exercise.

That stuff is 82% protein, you can get 90%, which is best? I've also read somewhere that it's better to get "isolate" rather than "concentrate". What's your thoughts?

id say your not eating enough cals tbh, espec if you're doing 30 - 90 mins on a bike each day.

Increase cal intake but with lean meats and veg and incorporate some weights in there also, you'll start seeing some results. srs.

800 cals a day will stop you loosing weight, as the body feels as though it is being starved and will hold on to what you still have. up it to 1200 cals a day, and it will work out better for you.
