Hi, I am really struggline to find a board with all my requirements at a good price....

Here's what I need...

1. Atleast 5 onboard Sata Ports (will have a Blu-Ray writer and 3 1.5tb drives and 1 500gb drive for the OS)
2. Plenty of rear USB min 6 and atleast 2 onboard
3. Gig lan
4. Socket 775 for Quad Core
5. DDR3 Memory compatible
6. MATX
7. Under £100
8. PCI 2.0
9. Onbaord HD Audio

Will be using my own graphics card so not fussed about onboard graphics

I've been searching for days but can't choose one as I don't know what's good and what isn't....

Can anyone help?

Thanks

>500gb drive for the OS

Yes, that should be big enough for the operating system !!!

Are you building this yourself?

A lot of requirements and high specs..... You would think someone with a requirement for those specs would have an idea of what Mother Board they wanted.

You seen any that you like we can compare??

Then ask on the "System Builders and Upgrades" forum, they are real experts on there.

I've built several PC's over the years but specs are getting beyond me. The amin problem is finding a board under £100 with DDR3 compatibility, I found a few MSI ones but they aren't MATX

Will also have all my music, pictures, downloads etc on there.....the 4.5tb is purely for movies (over 6,000 in my collection now)

You will probably need to up your budget if you want all that from a decent manufacturer.

Given you're after DDR3 any reason you're not looking at i7 boards?

The i7 processors are really expensive, I've got 2.5ghz quad which I am happy with, are the i7 that much faster?

Yes theoretically. This is worth a read: http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=16189&page=1.

Thing is it's a different socket, Intel are moving away from 775. So if you brought a 775 you'd be looking at another new board if you decided to update your processor down the line. Depends what you're looking for I suppose, but an i7 would give you more options in the future.

You want all this on a MATX BOARD???? Good luck with that one!

Should probably add that to the OP mate!!

Oops see you have already, easily over looked though in the other specs,
