Hiya all,
well I (well we) have a mega problem, we can't figure out what to get as a main present for our 12 year old daughter, the budget is around £50-£60, she is quite mature for her age.
Already has a Wii, DS, LG Cookie, Laptop and we have a PS3 downstairs so them things are out of the question.
Any bits of help would be fantastic, thank you in advance.

She uses her phone for music, as likes to play it out loud with her mates.

And we've already got perfume, clothes, accesories and a few books.

Thank you though

Edit: Also tried asking and she doesn't know either!!

Am I the only (stick-in-mud, sensible, boring) one who thinks - open up a savings account for her. If there is really nothing she wants or needs, then why get something for the sake of it. Give her a savings book!!

Got a watch, although it's only a Me to You one, for the amount of times she will wear it it will do

a good idea, especially if there is nothing she wants, you could end up wasting money on something she doesn't want

My ten year old would be gutted if I handed him a savings book on christmas day:w00t: Though from mums point of view - would be a fantastic present!

if you decide to open a bank account she is old enough now to have it in her name and have responsibility for her own pocket money and debit card would be a good opportunity to teach her the value of all those lovely things she owns xxx

my girls enjoy having speech recorders for class etc or how about a printerdscanner-photocopier to help with the presentation of her homework xx

Well she has a Liverpool bank account and debit card so these are all covered, just it's difficult as she's that inbetween age, too old for toys and too young still for just clothes.
We have a Kodak all in one printer for us all to use, as it's connected to all laptops.

come on its for a 12 year old, dont get me wrong its a great idea, we should all give more to the less unfortunate but not as a kids present at christmas
#29
How about a charm/pandora bracelet? she can keep adding to it then with her pocket money and get little charms bought for her on birthdays etc..
#30
I have included a voucher in my sons christmas for a place called Xscape. Its for him and three of his chosen friends to go sledging at this place. They have an indoor snow place and its just brilliant. Price includes all equipment and clothing.

You can do the "free things" the other 364 days of the year. We always go down to loch lomond on Boxing day with friends and have fun and costs nothing but the petrol

maybe you could get her to choose a charity that she could gift that present too , a good lesson in life maybe.

We always try go to the local museums and stuff which is free apart from the getting there.

We don't really have any places like that local, apart from Waterworld, but our neice works there, so that's free anyway.

Would be nice to have something that she can open and use on the day.
