The Canon HF10 is very good.
Mine is for sale, only used a couple of times and with loads of accessories, PM me if you're interested.

I have a Sony HDR-TG7VE. I love it, the main reason is the small size. There are many good models around but, it they are too big, after the novelty has worn off you'll end up not bothing to take it out with you because it's cumbersome to lug around!
Amazon £500 vs John Lewis £800!

Its more to film my little ones (5 week old twins) rather to take out on holidays etc- the camera i have already is really poor when filming indoors especially even with the lights on the video comes out sort of a pinky colour.

If that's all you want it for then you may not really need to pay as much as you've said you are willing to!
I also have a Kodak Zi8
Generally cheap camcorders don't perform well indoors/low light but I was pleasantly surprise by the quality indoors. If you search YouTube for Zi8 you will see many examples there for you to judge, some taken indoors. Here are mine taken at a pub gig. Note you are not seeing the full resolution on YouTube. For only £120 it may be all you need.

I'd highly recommend the Canon HF100. If you google this model, you'll find reviews to be very positive indeed!

I bought it in December 2008, have only used it a handful of times.
I'm not sure about warranty, and I have the receipt, it was bought from Amazon.
I have a sony tripod, a rode videomic and a canon 'shoe' for it, a Hague MMC stabilizer, lowepro carry case, mic stand, mic extension cable, lenspen, lens blower, 16gb transcend SDHC car.

Basically everything you need!
