£82k > £142k = an increase of £60k. £60k as a percentage of £82k = 73.17%

£343k > £824k = an increase of £481k. £481 as a percentage of £343k = 140.23%

£82k > £142k = an increase of £60k. £60k as a percentage of £82k = 73.17%

£343k > £824k = an increase of £481k. £481 as a percentage of £343k = 140.23%

An easier way to calculate this is:

142k / 82k = 1.7317 Take away the 1 which means an increase and the 0.7317 is the 73.17%

824k / 343 = 2.4023 Again take away the 1 which means an increase and the 1.4023 is the 140.23%

Hope this helps.
