Can somone tell me how to open the battery cover of a Sony Ericsson W595???

My phone has just arrived today, but I cannot see a way of putting ny battery and sim in without breaking the cover. Plus the user guide doesn't help, it just says "open battery cover" and i'm like ye…

It snaps on and snaps off

You will see a little hole on the side underneath the cover to put an implement in (or finger nail) and just lever it out.

I had same problem with nieces phone

hubby just got new sony ericson yesterday and we had similar issue..... try pressing down at the top and then sliding it off the bottom end.

leave comment as to how you did it........ as long as you didn't break it!! :)

lol from one queen to another...the little groove to get it off is at the top right of the cover.

about 2 mins 30 seconds in it shows him opening the battery cover

I must say it looks like on of the fiddliest phnoes to get into!

Thanks a lot guys, I was actually able to open it after the first person's comments but because I had changed my email address and hadn't verified it yet I couldn't reply. I didn't realise the reason till now but I've now left rep for all who tried to help.
