Can't Log into tesco - HELP needed

Can anyone give me advice. I have been trying to log into Tesco but when I click on groceries it just says "sign in" but nothing happens.

The same happens for Tesco wine club which is even more upsetting!

Any advice appreciated, I really don't want to have to go back to pushing a trolley around Tescos!

Also happening with Asda's site but not sainsburys or Ocado.

I've just tried logging in to Tesco and it did work - I've had trouble in the past when the site seems to be sorta down or something - no probs today. Maybe you should re-start your computer?? Have you tried logging in to both tesco.com and tesco.com/superstore? Probably not much help but you never know:?

Thanks... it wont let me sign into anything to do with Tesco and it's been happening for the past week.

I've a feeling it has something to do with an update from BT 'cos my computer has been doing some strange things.:x

Have you done a 'cleanup' type thing on your computer?.. Hope you can get on tesco soon!
#4
Now you're getting very technical! What's a clean-up type thing?

If you go to 'Start' and the 'Control Panel' and then on my computer there's an option 'Performance and Maintenance', you can free up space on your computer by doing a clean up 'free up space on your hard disk' and also view some general info about your computer. Maybe start there? I'm not actually that technical - just know a some basic stuff. Hope that helps:)

Having done that, a little box comes up saying 'disk clean up' and it removes loadsa temporary files and stuff

cheers I'll try that.

cheers I'll try that.

Also, what I do is go to my Virgin Broadband PC guard Icon (on my desktop) and can run a scan of the computer through that. If you have something like that or Norton Security or whatever it is, go to that icon or place and you should also be able to run a scan of your computer and it will show you any infected files or rubbish and clean it up for you. All the best!:thumbsup:

I have been arguing with Teco for over a week, I am unable to access my basket, which I have some things in, I have emailed them 14 times they keep replying back telling me to do different things and check different things with my computer, there is absolutely nothing wrong with my computer, so I telephoned them explained everything, took ages, then they put me through to Tech Help, explained everything again then GOT CUT OFF, I was really mad, emailed them again and the whole process started over again, do this do that empty this etc etc. Problem is just before christmas someone tried to use my credit card in USA unsuccessfully, then in UK for £1 but got away with it using Tesco Direct and they collected something instore I presume, just be careful with whatever you have registered with Tesco direct, I dont think they know whats happening at the moment, we actually I KNOW THEYdont know WHAT IS HAPPENING AT THE MOMENT and its the worst customer services I have ever come accross

check security settings on your pc, which would allow you to browse sites but not to access any secure sites, which is what you access when you sign in (HTTPS). if you can sign into other secure sites ,, i.e your bank, dvd company etc, then this is not the problem but the tesco servers again

Thanks for all your help... still can't log into Tesco's but can mange Asda through Netscape.. It has something to do with secure sites. Have tried Fire fox and netscape but no joy. I'll just have to do my shopping at an internet cafe. Oh joy!
