Can you tell how much each laptop is downloading please?

Good morning

I wondered if there was a way of checking how much each computer in the house is downloading. We have two teenagers and my broadband is not unlimited. Trying to establish who is using the most. I don't want to change to unlimited at this stage. I am not interested in what they are downloading as I already have parental controls just a simple number of GB over a day period or week. Both sons seem to use you tube a lot but they say it streams so isn't as bad as downloading. Thanks for any advice.

Thank you guys appreciate your response. Will look at each. It may seem silly that I don't want to swap to unlimited at the moment but we are in a very poor speed area and our village is looking at using an outside company to get us quick speed fibre optics as BT have confirmed they have no plans to do any upgrading. We on average get about 2.5MBs.
So at the moment I don't want the hassle of changing until that takes place. I use zen which are expensive but have the best customer service I have ever come across. I have just upgraded this morning but may need to watch how much the boys use even within the upgrade.

Yes that would be my nearly 16 year old lol. ;-) and that's when I quickly had to use parental controls a few years ago. Talk about closing the gate when the horse has bolted. I felt really guilty.

Lol I did say it was a few years ago he wasn't 16. Naked ladies I have no problem with him looking it was what they were doing! Glad to know he's a healthy teenager though. :-)

Lol I did say it was a few years ago he wasn't 16. Naked ladies I have no problem with him looking it was what they were doing! Glad to know he's a healthy teenager though. :-)

cant see how they get through 100GB unless they are on youtube 12 hours a day! oO

get them some board games or take them outside for a bit ;)

Absolutely agree with you. Trying to figure out which machine is using it all. Only about 6 months ago we used no more than 50.
