Don't take the expense of seats on, get some old crates it will be even cheaper.

But I would assume your insurer would take the mods into account a hike up your premium.

Enough to make it uneconimical, otherwise everyone would be doing it.

Never heard of anyone actually doing it for financial purposes so I can only assume it is not on.

Phone your insurance up tomorrow and ask them (boy I wish I could record that phone call) :w00t:

I feel sooo sorry for young lads, and there insurance!!! For a gti 2.0 for me its 999 fully comp!!! Insurers are sexist lol :P xx

put a couple of sofas and a a table.fridge etc in the back or a bed!! much more useful

Won't work mate, the floorpans flat so nowhere for their feet:thumbsup:

You're right about van insurance though, mine costs £205 f/c as a second vehicle :lol:

Well no joke, you struggle to get the diesel over 70. Complete culture shock for me as i've got a 1.8 Zetec that goes 0-60 in no time flat pmsl.

Thank god for that! seriously though mate, nice thinking on the van as first motor for insurance, expect to be pulled a lot at night in it though, young lad-van looks dodgy to the law (the suspicious gits), when I drove the works van at night as a young un I got pulled a few times.
