Can You help Which Laser Printer??

Hi folks,
I am a University student and looking at purchasing my first printer, ive been told to get a laser printer as in the long run these will be cheaper to run due to the amount of times cartridges need to be replaced and dry up when not used in normal printers.
I am running on vista on my laptop and XP on my PC so I need a printer that can run on both, most laser printers I have found run upto XP and do not mention being compatable with vista,
Can anyone help and what is the best make to purchase some have said Epsoms and some have said Canon's, I am looking at spending around £120

I have always used Brother Laser Printers. Had one for almost 10 years. The catridges are not cheap, but can be refilled at CartridgeWorld or you can do it yourself very easily.

Brother Printer at Viking Direct £79.99 + VAT

Refilling the cartridge yourself

yep - brother laser printers are excellent. approx 5000 pages per cartridge (Lexmark inkets struggle to print 100!)

20 pages per minute printing speed is nice too :)

I have this one.
