Can you pass a citizenship test?

The government is launching the citizenship test for foreigners who want to become British. If you want the passport, then you'll have to read Life in the UK, a special book, and sit a 45-minute test on society, history and culture. But do you know what it is to be British? The following very unofficial questions are based on information in the official book - let's see how well you do...

LOL.... 10 correct.

Loved this one:

Life in the UK explains what to do if you spill someone's pint in the pub (we're not making this up). What, according to the book, usually happens next?

A: You would offer to buy the person another pint

B: You would offer to dry their wet shirt with your own

C: You may need to prepare for a fight in the car park

"What, according to the book, usually happens next?"

(they had to add "according to the book" because C could be what usually happens next, depending on how late into the drinking it is)
#33

Got question 2 -5 -7-13-14 wrong

Its a joke - a) someone acutally got paid to write those and B) waste of taxpayers money

Question 2
Almost 60m people live in the UK. By what factor do the native-born English outnumber their Scots or Welsh neighbours?

Their correct answer is 9, which is nonsense.
look on wikipedia, there are combined 8 million Scottish/Welsh soooo...9x8= 72
apparantly 60=72.
what the heck are they on about?!?

So no I can't pass the citizen test...if they just make up their own answers!

9 Right here btw.

You have highlighted 'OR' mummyspam, but what are you trying to say?
there are 5 millions Scots and 3 million Welsh.
5x9 = 45
3x9 = 27
neither equals 52...
so how do the English outnumber either the Scots 'OR' the welsh 9 to 1???
seriously can someone tell me how?
