now this is going to sound really weird but its excellent - go to boots and get some aloe vera aftersun gel (the green stuff) - use this on yourself and you will notice the difference within 2 days

p.s. you dont need just boots - anywhere that sells the green aloe vera aftersun

I'm with people on the aqueous cream. Its very cheap but very good I worked in a pharmacy advising people with conditions like yours and 9 times out of 10 they walked out with Aq Cream and didnt need to come back.

Not the cheapest by any stretch however its widely reckoned to be the best, L'Occitane shea butter hand cream.

Link for it on QVC below for 2 tubes but if you have a L'occitane shop or Debenhams near you they will sell single tubes of it. QVC site shows customer reviews of it 4.7 out of 5 and is on quidco.

Try Aveeno - they do a fab hand cream - it soaks right in and you can feel the difference staright away, but it doesn't seem to disappear when you wash your hands. from Boots about £5 -£6 a tube, but you don't need loads.

(there is a link on here for a free sample as well - though it's a different one from the green one I buy)

Personally I have had problems with aqueous cream in the past so can't recommend it, but it is worth a try as it is a very cheap option if it works for you!

You really need to treat the source of your problem. This condition is probably caused by a deficiency in the skin oils.

Try taking cod liver oil capsules for a month. They are tastless and quiote cheap.
