I think they do it by postcode so I don't think it would work.

check the T&Cs to see it mentions whether the offer is name specific or whether it is specific to the home address.

You can do it, but I think I read in the thread for this offer, it takes a month to cancel the account, but the offer expires in less than 2 weeks I think. So don't think it would work this time.

just ring them up and tell them unless they offer you the same deal you will go to another provider,be insistent and ask to be put through to the subscrirtion cancellation dept and
tell them the same thing ,I did and bingo they put me on the new service, give them a load of bull like been with you for 10 years or whatever and this is how I get treated ,hope this helps if not cancel and put in your wifes, dads ,mothers, grandmas, daughters name

My mums done it. She cancelled her sky via phone and ten mins later took out a new sky online in her boyfriends name. They give you an option of when you want installation so you could still take advantage of the good offer before it expires and cancel your original sky. Go for it, you have nothing to lose

...so your notice period is 30 days...what happens when the engineers comes around and sees that you have your equipment still in place? Surely this is very inconvenient when you have phonelines etc..?
