If you cancel Sky - you have to give 30 days right?

Also can you get the freeview channels on the box or do you need to buy that £20 card to get the channels after cancellation

Anyone know where on the sky website it has info about cancelling sky tv as i cant find it

You will get the free channels when your Sky is cut off withouth buying a card. I don't think you can cancel on the website (you can do everything else) you have to ring up.

If you have subscribed for longer than a year, then the box is yours, you still have to give 30 days notice, and yes, the 120 FREEsat channels will still work, with your old card once all pay TV has been turned off by them.

Cancel by phone, not online. or by post to: Sky Subscribers Services, PO Box 43, Livingston, West Lothian EH54

Be ready because they keep you on the phone for ages asking why you want to canvel and then they try and persuade you to stay etc. Thats why you can't do it online.!

It took us 3 months to cancel sky. Would never take their phone package again. If you have the phone package the bill has to be paid and the phone canceled before they will even entertain cancelling the TV. We were advised to say "personal reasons" when ask why we wanted to stop the package, this worked a treat as we weren't offered any deals. If we ever need to cancel again I would do it in writting probably recorded delivery. Oh another thing you pay in advance so make sure the direct debit stops. Ours didn't and we ended up waiting on refunds etc. There is a lot to be said for freeview!

You'll still need a card for Five & Fiver, unfortunately no card no channel! :x
