I changed from TalkTalk to O2 for my phone line recently. TalkTalk knew about this because they rang me up trying to get me to stay about a week before the switch. O2 told me they handle everything and I would receive a final bill from my current supplier.
TalkTalk never sent me anything. I logged onto my account yesterday and they have applied additional charges to my account.
1. They have added the previous full months payment as an adjustment even though I had already paid this (so I am paying for line rental and call charges twice). Is this because I did not give them 1 month notice? But I am out of contract.
2. They attempted to charge my debit card when I was no longer a TalkTalk customer and have charged me a £10 direct debit rejection charge.
I have sent them a cheque for the call charges minus the 2 additional charges above, which as far as I am concerned it all I owe them because the line rental is paid a month in advance and was already paid. Anybody have similar experience?
