you need some photo editing software

you can get a lot free on the internet

picassa is one example

might take you a wee while to learn how to use it but it's worth it

You can crop images taken with any camera, the photo software just edits the jpeg, doesn't matter what is used to create it in the first place.

As said above, picassa is useful, i use Photoshop, but i use it for many more things as well. Gimp is a good alternative to Photoshop if you ever get into editing more.

Good luck!!

not really sure and can't check the manual because canon will not allow manuals to be downloaded.

But try zooming in in playback mode then move the image around the screen until you get the crop you want then see if there is an option to resave the file.

Hi if you are the owner of the camera I assume you have the Zoombrowser software which comes with the camera.
You can crop and adjust using this programme
