I bought a new mp3 player yesterday this one here , http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/9238701.htm i got them to check it had a radio before i left the store and was told it did, i came home read the manual and it said that i should see the radio in the very first menu after music, settings etc but i can seem to find it anywhere ?

Can anyone shed any light on this ? Do i need to download it ? I checked the Philips website and found nothing.

Yeah, i got them to open box in shop and then they confirmed there was a radio as it was in the manual, im now thinking how is this possible ? Been looking all over the internet all day and cant find anything on it. Emailed Philips there and will await a respond. Got a long bus journey tommorow though so was hoping to have it figured out by then,

Think you may be missing the point of the previous post. Although Argos staff said it had a radio because it was in the manual, the manual actually has a small footnote saying not all the players have a radio. I doubt they went through it with more than a quick scan and seeing the mention of a radio confirmed it to you. The Argos specs page says nothing about a radio either.

I would suggest if you cannot find the radio logo in the top menu (as shown on page 14 of the manual) then you don't have one.
Hope I am wrong.
