Worth £3-3500 what are you asking ?

I've always found things like cars and bikes sell badly on the bay. Not many people think to look there.
Get it on bike trader and you'll get online exposure and good old paper.
#3
Price? Would help judge if you are asking the right price. And to be hones biking weather is only just getting here. Its hardly a winter hack about.
#4
3500, had alot done to it, if i put an item number in here am i breaching the rules?

If its on ebay you can't advertise it here
expect this thread to be locked as soon as a mod see's it

Has the OP made a thread in fs/ft? I can't see one

You should lower the starting bid.
#11
i cant take less than that for it though, its cost me 11000 all together
I know its second hand and no one wants to pay for the extra parts etc but since feb i have had this on/off preloved/ebay/paper etc

I didn't think promoting your ebay items was allowed on here

All that puts me off for a start ^^

may put bidders off, it does me when i see it on stuff im interested in..... and also if people report your listing it can be removed
#16
Aren't people more likely to buy a bike in the Summer, listing it as early as Feb maybe wasn't such a good idea.

My xtz660 cost someone else £30k+ but i paid under £2k
You never recoup the money for extras
#18
i am not premoting it, i am asking for genuine advice, i am obviously not going to sell something as specialist on here I wouldnt have thought,
I put that line in to try and give people a bit of urgency because it hasnt sold so many times, 8 quid a throw from ebay is soon topping up
#19
if you do sell it dont sell it from your home/give out your address my OH cousin did they never showed up, that night his bike got nicked

take it to someone elses house to do the deal

i understand i am not going to get much back but you would have thought it would top the higher end of the scale on valuations now since having all the work done, especially cosmetic paintjobs

i thought that, my ex always used to want to go on the back and after a crying fit from the east lancs, i decided not to give her the option ha!!

A paint job nearly always lowers the value, most people think its was done due to the bike being dropped
#27
will give it a try, thankyou

I have paperwork to say it was done to a clean tidy bike!! should have popped that in there i think
#29
Can you take the extras off and put the original stuff on? Sell the extras on ebay and sell this as close to original as possible. Plus take the jargon off about watchers and advertised elsewhere, I do not know why people do this, because if you sell it you just remove from ebay isnt it!!!!!
#30
all the original parts are long gone, but yes I will take those parts out in a min and if it doesnt sell this time I will take the advice of bike trader i think!!

If your friendly with your local dealer ask if they will take it in on sell or return
Did that with my ZX636 as it was coming up to winter a couple of years ago, didn't sell to March but got the money i wanted and the dealer got his cut on top, being summer now yours should sell quicker
No hassles for me to deal with or chance of getting ripped off
#32
might give that a try, had a 636 myself, cracking bikes, shame to see this one go too but with insurance through the roof it has got to go!!
thanks for all your help everyone, really appreciated!!

Be worth mentioning bike wasn't dropped in ad and while you may think its the best paint job ever others won't and your limited to JR fans
