key code would be for the old cassette player, no one uses them any more so don't worry about putting the key code in again. The CD player will fit no problems but the connector block maybe different, if the connector block doesn't connect take your car down to halfords and ask one of the sales staff which connector block adaptor you need for your CD player.

A quick search round the internet turned up this site:

http://www.car-audio-accessories.co.uk/ford_radio_codes.php?gclid=CIzZlPWGt5ICFQHD1AodrjrwQg

They charge a fiver to tell you your code. I also found this forum site:

http://forums.preloved.co.uk/fuseaction-forums.showdiscussion/thread_id-19880/startrow-41/maxrows-20/67d01444.html

Don't know how up to date it is, but "Harry" seems to be clued up giving out codes.

As for fitting the CD Player, you might be best talking to a local motoring shop - although exchanging the two players should be straightforward it doesn't always work out that way! If you buy a CD player from them they should fit it free of charge for you; if you have already bought the CD player then they will most likely charge you a small fee for fitting.

I used to have a ford fiesta encore N reg. Took mine to Halfords and just asked the guy in there and he gave me the adapter for the wires to connect my cd player. Had to by a new mount for it too (think it cost about 25 in total with the wires too) and away I went. Think you may need a mount as the old radio was pretty big?

your better off looking on ebay, (much cheaper than halfrauds) you need a ford to iso connector for the wiring and fiesta facia for the facia plate to make it fit in the dash. once you have these items its a 5 minuite job. if you want to put the tape player back in you will need a code but you can google ford radio calc and you will find a program where you enter the serial number off your radio and it generates the code.

Lol who wants a radio casette back in their car! Also, depends if you want to sort it quick and pay more, or pay a bit less and wait a few days from eBay.

Just watch out for these. I bought some software off ebay to get a code and none of the codes it gave me worked - he did give me a full refund though.
By all means try it, but be prepared for it to not work.

well you might wanna put it back when you sell the car  the facia and the leads will cost you at least an extra £20 at halfords

If you go onto the Motors Discussion Board on Ebay there's a thread there from a guy who can give you the code free.

I actually like them, better than a lot of aftermarket units if you have the CD changer too.

Maybe so but doesn't detract from what Ford actually means *FYI: Fix Or Repair Daily :w00t:

I'm the lucky one then, last bit of maintenance I did on my car was a cam belt change about 18 months ago. Not bad for a 16 year old:p
