Probably covered in the standard excess. Ring your insurance company.

:friends:We have had this happen a couple of times ...

They also y tried to carjack our car on one occasion after puttin windows thru with baseball bats with my OH inside, luckily he slammed in reverse and nearly ran one of the scroats over.

I hope u get things sorted out, horrible experience to have to go thru, hugs to u:friends:

It should be covered with the standard excess.

What kind of a scum would want to do that to another human being? It really doesn't make any sense to me.

Wait !

Before you ring and ask get dent devils or similar to look at the dents they might be able to repair alot cheaper than your excess, if you ring the insurance company they will put it on record even if you dont claim.

You might be better just claiming the glass and paying the £60-£70 excess on the glass which dosent matter claim wise.

He's right - any chance of seeing the dents? Some cannot be sorted however...
#10
Agreed, you do not loose any no claims for glass so you may be better off getting the paintwork repaired yourself.
#11
The kick in the teeth about this is that it will go against you as a "fault" claim, probably under "vandalism".

If you can live with the dents then you might be best just to claim for the glass...

its not just dents, bonnet and 2 doors have been keyed, windscreen and 3 windows on other side smashed and a dent that wouldnt be repairable,im just glad we never heard it as they had been shouting for my husband to go out,so it could have been worse

You should only have to pay one excess iirc
