Does anyone know or recommend a cheaper car insurance for oap,looking for fully comp for a 75YR old no accidents on licence car is a peugeot 106 3dr zest w reg cheapest i can find is admiral at £300 even thought that was dear ,or does insurance go up after you get to 70+

Have you tried SAGA or Rias - they specialise in older drivers - do not know how they compare price wise though

£300 sounds good. I would imagine at that age he starts to be more of a risk to them insurers.

for the price of the insurance if all they are doing is food shopping just pay the £3 to have it delivered?

Put him in a care home, he wont need to do a weekly shop then. Free bus travel whenever he wants to go out, win win situation there !!

I doubt it if I had to use public transport. It's bloody terrible !!!
