I need car insurance for roughly a month, what would you say is the cheapest way of doing so?

I am 22 and have held a full license with no points for over a year.

Cheers, rep shall be dished out (although soon to be rendered useless)

Might be an idea i know i tried that before when i passed but was unable to as my mum had only past that year as well.
She is with ecarinsurance as below...its £285 to add me for a year, but i only need it for a month which means if ive read the t&c's correctly it would cost me prorata per day then a £25 admin fee for cancelling the policy...

cant to short term, could do PAYG for a month which is just over £100 for the month though.
However, technically the car is no longer registered to me thus i cant do it really :whistling:

i got added on to hubbys for roughly 3 weeks and i was about £40 and then i got a refund of i think it was £18 so worked out not bad as i had only passed my test it can be stressing trying to sort these things out hope you get something sorted :)

wow thats really good, my mums insurance doesnt seem to allow a temp driver or anything you have to add them for the remaining policy and pay the full amount upfront, then you get a refund prorata minus a admin fee of £25!

Hi
You could take out hire and reward ins.
As a cab driver not cheap but will do 7/14 day or 1 month ins at a time.

but if its not cheap its not an option, cheers for a suggestion though. As stated i could get PAYG or get put on my mums perhaps. but means paying large amount upfront.
#12
you could try dayinsure.com,we get a lot of young drivers on these so presuming its fairly cheap
