Hi, can anyone help - I am looking to buy an X3 or XC90 over the next month. Has anyone been offered any good deals ie cash discounts (big ones) recently or know any garages that have been and would like a sale ??

make sure you trade in a ******* to get the £2k discount

Go through a broker. Try drivethedeal. I've heard good reviews on them. They will point you to the dealer.

did you know you have to have owned the **** car for 12 months to trade in for the £2k !!

Go for the XC90 the drive in the X3 is pants!

I would hazard a guess that any great deals will be the models with large petrol engines.

Wouldn't bother with the X3, overpriced, not a great drive and looks like you cant afford an X5.

Get an AMG G Class instead, rock solid and goes like the clappers.

These people have a 'find a price' utility - they give you an idea of the sort of price you should be paying. If you can't get a dealer to match their price then they will point you to a dealer who will:thumbsup:

Top gear said go for a 5 series instead of the x3 (its cheaper and a better drive)

The XC90 is nice

cheers for all the help, I will post a deal as you seem to be able to get around £10k off at the moment

X3 from £27k

XC60 from £24k

Merc GL from £53k

May be a bit steep for the OP!

Arrgghhhh dont mention the GL thats , that isnt a real G-this is although at 379,000 Euros, it may be a tad over budget.
