Car Windscreen HELP/ADVICE Appreciated

After purchasing my own car for the first time and picking it up yesterday from the garage, i now have a problem which is going to bug me silly.

Yesterday late afternoon, not having had the car for an hour i am driving to my Granny's when i go to overtake a car in the slow lane. While in the fast line im thinking there's something funny about the car infront of me but i couldn't put my finger on it until . . . BANG . . . .

Something hits my windscreen and thankfully it isn't dented/chipped/cracked etc but it's got a big rusty mark, i suppose a rusty scuff. It is just below my line of version but i know it's going to be something which will get to me. Cause of this scuff was the women's exhaust, hanging off and scrapping across the ground, abit must of flew off and unfortunately me being the car behind got it.

Any help/advice in what i can do to get rid of it?

Pop along to your local Halfords or B&Q as most of them have a windscreen repair dude. Be sure to at least try washing it off with WARM water before you go, you dont want to look like an idiot!!!

The repair should be free too so dont worry :)

Doesn't the amount of a slash depend on how much you've had to drink? :whistling:
