Yes as everyone is made of money :-) We would both rather stay in a caravan than hotel or b&b.

Always ways of keeping warm anyway

Try Beverley Park or Ashvale Caravan Parks - both owned by the same family run business - google them.
Both of these are in Paignton

So much easier if you just dump her, rather than going to the expense of a trip to a caravan in january and waiting for her to inevitably dump you.

Rather do it the long way, more fun and exciting.

Fun and exciting aren't the words I would have used to describe a caravan holiday in january.

Which one were you at? We were at Ashvale - thought the evening stuff was good, and it was much quieter than Beverley Park

I don't think that you are going to find any caravans available in Jan but you might find some holiday lodges and even then I think you are more likely to track down something for Feb/Mar rather than Jan, although N Year is more possible.

Devon Tourist Office??

lovely place to go for a short break but i suggest a nice hotel at this time of year and they are quite cheap just now a lot cheaper and comfortable than a caravan i have visited paignton and torquay three times this year very enjoyable. i only hope the local council spend some cash on seating for their visitors as there is no seating anywhere past the railway crossing to the beach also when up the town watch out for falling debri from the gutters above the shops you could plant a lot of things in those gutters badly needing cleaned but otherwise very nice place and people i hope you find what you want and have a nice time.

We were at ashvale too, i thought it was good a lot better than other parks. For the price paid too it was great. Though the swimming pool was alright to.
