So, he's left the 'appy 'ammers and signed for Taggart's Trafford Reds.

Many many suspicions still remain over this. Dodgy transfer, very cloak and dagger and it's just dawned on me, the irony that the 'ammers sold what could have been their best and most valuable assest to the team that *may* have let them win to stay up.....hmmm.....

I love the irony too that Taggart refuses to sell to Liverpool, Heinze cos he won't be forced to sell his players and yet, really the 'ammers didn't wanna sell. Classic Taggartism.

He is happy to sell Heinze, just not to the bin dippers. What is wrong with that? Why would you sell someone who is going to make your arch-rivals stronger?

Fergie is one of the only people left in football who actually has any loyalty!

Do you think Sven would refuse to sell a player to United if we met his asking price?! Not a chance!

Enjoy another season of failure!

Heinze has a letter, saying that £6M and you can go, yeah? Then cos Liverpool come in, he can't go, yeah? So, as usual Taggart makes up the rules when he goes along.

We never sell any players, cos no one wants to buy our's lol, our biggest transfers of late, have all been academy players, SWP and Joey Barton. We have a good academy. Can't remember the last player to come through your's in recent years

Lol, i will, i'm used to it, lol, it's been 30+ years now, so what's new. That's a comment that's hardly gonna rile me is it? :giggle:

This is about Tevez, not about us Bitters in Manchester :-D

He also has a legally binding contract that says he is a Manchester United player for the next 2 years.

I will agree with the rest of your statements though! :)

Tool! :whistling:

Another one who believes everything he reads in "The Sun"

£20 quid says Tevez scores more than Citys "best" (if there is such a thing) 11 this season.

hey hold on a second, tool? I am denying he is a great player just think it's been a joke the signing.
As for Midd, i'll see you in The Archer then, near the roundabout for a pint tomorrow?

Not for the tevez comment, for the Heinze comment.

Archer? no thanks. I'm at the game ;)

besides, my missus grew up in Mid, and that statue outside has scared her since the age of 2

Oh right as for the Heinze comment. It's not so much the Sun is it, it's all over the popular media. If the clause does not exist, then why did Mo Watkins come out and say yes it was true? They've a player in contract, yes for 2 more years as has been said here already but if the clause is triggered by a £6M bid, then no matter who it is, unless said contract stipulates they cannot be sold to club, X, Y and/or Z, explicitly then it's breach of contract from Taggart et. al and he should be able to leave.

I think you'll also find, cos of his age, he can buy out the final 2 years of his contract anyways, so holding him to ransom is just plain juvenile. Oh i forgot, that's Taggart all over. As i said before, no one person is bigger than the club, cept him lol

Excellent, hope you have a great day down there :)
Nice to know there is a local on here :)

Aye... maybe see you in there on Derby day (unless I get dragged into the Woodman)

Heinze can't buy his contract out now as he missed the cut off date of August 6th to do so. I never knew it existed, I just know that it does now after the papers and SSN confirmed it last week.

It'll all sort itself out in the end. Heinze is a good player, but if Liverpool don't get him it won't be the end of the world.
