Cars that will never be acceptable for a man to drive

Saw a guy driving a Mini One cabriolet today with the roof down and just thought WTF you look like a price male chicken. Obviously a man cannot drive a Mazda MX-5 and maintain a shred of dignity either.

So which other cars is it never acceptable for a man to drive?

I think you should state what car you drive op

Xsara Picasso which I would class as practical for family reasons and therefore acceptable even though it is essentially a tractor with a slightly egg shaped exterior

What's wrong with an MX-5? I had an 03 plate 1.8 Sport and loved it! Best thing I remember about it was driving to work in the snow with the roof down but being warm with the heaters and the heated seats on. I loved that car.

To be fair, I did get some stick for getting that MX-5, but when people got a spin in it, they kinda changed their minds, it really is a fab car.

I'm sure they are good fun to drive but it's just something about them that makes me think any man driving one must like musical theatre

Smart car. Even being gay isn't an acceptable excuse for a man driving one.

Owned one of those as well, one of the first right hand drive models (51 plate) and they are terrible!

Sadly, I did own one, a Pulse model (61 bhp!) with a silver Tridion and True Blue panels. It lasted about 3 months before it got hit twice in the back by a truck who just couldn't stop in time as we were going downhill, so first impact knocked the inertia switch meaning I couldn't drive off and so he hit me again. Held up very well in the accident though considering.

Personally, I think real men shouldn't be driving the people carrier type cars and should be leaving that job to the females while the men are driving fun cars and enjoying themselves.

Now there's a great idea for another car related thread. The campest guy I have ever known drove a burgundy fiesta though.

That's what I told the wife. Been promised that I can have a mid life crisis at fifty and buy a proper mans car then. Only nineteen years more to drive round in crap heaps

But don't those type of drivers who do drive 18+ wheels pick up and murder 'ladies of the night'?
