I recently transferred mine from Santander to Halifax and it only took three weeks. They did say it might take up to 28 days though.

took 4 days in total

I did Santander to HBOS (3%). Took 8 days but they said they will pay the lost interest as part of their ISA Price Promise.

Nationwide pay the new interest rate from the date the transfer is requested, so no worries.

It will be RBS causing the delay.

They also have the worst reputation of any UK Bank, use Nationwide they are far better than Santander.

Santander don't allow transfers on their best rated ISA - only new ISAs.

That is a fixed rate for 2 years, fine if you are happy to tie your funds up for that long.
