Cashback ?

Why i’ve never used cashback sites, i’ve no idea..

I’ve signed upto TopCashBack as i’m intending on making a big Littlewoods order for Christmas, any sort of tips or is it as simple as clicking through the site and ordering?

Also, how long is it until you get ya cashback and can withdraw it after an order typically.

Looking at it, think i may switch gas / electricity provider to aswell. Crasy that i’ve missed out on so much extra cash with all the online purchases i do.

Also any extra hints / tips would be good.

Cheers!

Topcashback is better than quidco in my opinion (& a lot of people on here seem to agree)

Just always remember to check for cashback, click through & make your purchase. Check a few days later that its tracked (is showing on your cashback account) because if its not you can put a claim in (tell them its missing)

It might take a few months until the cashback site is paid, but with topcashback as soon as they are paid you can request payment

Quidco charge an annual fee,TCB don't.

I buy lots of things. When I bother (which isnt that often to be fair), I only ever use topcashback. Its free to use and has paid out on every purchase. Unlike the 66% failure rate on Quidcon.

I've had over £500 from them in the past 3 months. (Inc £154 I cashed last night from a power utilities switch)

op just register with them both whoever pays most use them they are both a godsend imo

Thinks chaps, i think i'll stick with topcashback due to the account fee on Quidco.

I can't believe i've never used them to be honest, i always kind of viewed them as a bit gimmicky.. Until i actually took the time to look at the sites.. Seems like i've stupidity lost out on allot of money, by not using them.

Indeed... I've done the same. It's not much effort to gain the cash, but worthwhile when special deals are on. (eg for house insurance and utilities.) I even managed to get £100 from sky when I used a code with them and got my dad half price HD for 12 months. I never thought that would pay out, but it did.

Yes, register with both as there are difference between the % cashbacks and some companies are only with one of them.

As a bit of advice though, I would say not to totally rely on the cashback as part of your decision making process. It doesn't always 'work' and the delay can be many months, for both sites.

I treat it as an added bonus - free money, but, of course, given 2 retailers offerring the same item at similar prices, I will go for the one with the highest % cashback.

LOL..... Sums things up!

I just placed an online comet order in the last hour for a Canon 550D and completely forgot about the 3% on £600. OK, its only £18, but it does mount up!

Luckily it was an online instore collection, so just need to redo and replace the order via TCB

Actually, I was still undecided (I get a 10% discount from work also for some weird reason!), so with the HUKD deal, voucher, TCB and 10% it comes out at £522 (It may have pushed me over the edge to buy!)

EDIT
LOL...... Seems I got the last one in my local store so cant reorder..... Oh well... it was only £18!
