Cashback issues with Chatterbox ?

Wanted to know if anyone else is having problems in claiming cashback with Chatterbox.com. My cashback was due by the end of Feb 2007 and they were supposed to pay within 28 days. Its more than 90 days since they received the claim and today, this is what they have to say :-

As you are aware we are facing a back log in the entire cash back process which has caused a delay. We are constantly working to reduce this, but cannot confirm the time frame for when this will be resolved, and therefore are unable to confirm when payment will be made . We would request you to kindly contact us within 45 working days to confirm the expected time frame .

We appreciate your patience and apologise for the inconvenience. In case you have any further queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.


They cant confirm when the cashback will be paid and will let me know the time frame in next 45 days.. Mmhh.. something is badly wrong :?

No ... worringly they cant confirm the payment dates either. Most (or All) of the cashback offers are now withdrawn @ Chatterbox :-(

hi i havent got a contract with chatterbox but on the radio just now they mentioned that chatterox were in trouble and wouldnt be able to pay everyone back, apparently more people than expected remembered to send in their claims and now the cant afford it.

Hit them with the 'pay up in 7 days' notice letter immediately - it just might get you towards the front of the queue.
