Cashback sites

Following on from the earlier quidco enquiry today...

Considering that quidco charges an annual £5 fee what additional value does it offer over the other established cashback sites that do not charge a fee?

And bearing the £5 in mind, does it still live up to it's stated mission:

Quidco was founded in 2005 with a mission to help people save money in every way possible - as a result it is now the UK's favourite cashback and voucher website.

I am a firm believer in Quidco, always been great to me but they have been losing to Topcashback for a while, with their free cashback (no annual fee).

TCB also offer a cashback match service, where if quidco is higher they will match them. TCB do what quidco do for free, but how much longer can they keep it up? They have to make money from somewhere IMO.

There are a lot of people who moan about quidco not tracking, ticket issues etc etc but I haven't had an issue that hasn't been sorted by their support. It's personal preference really, I use quidco as I have been using them for years, while a lot of people have moved to TCB so they can save themselves £5 per year

I too have been a long time member, but when asked to recommend the best cashback site to use, I find myself in a quandary. I still like to suggest quidco as one of the best but need to temper that with the fact that they charge a fee whilst topcash, as an example, give much the same service but without the fee.

I used Quidco for years but as soon as i found out about TCB and the no fee i started using them instead, why hand over a fiver when TCB give you the same service.

quidco are greedy and they never back you up now !! they have lost the no1 slot and still have the £5 fee
topcashback are the best for me and have no fee they will also match all other cashback site so you cant go wrong

They still make money, these cashback sites get a bonus payment if they hit certain targets, and there is interest on payments

TCB always for me now. Always had a great service and quickly sort out any issues (ie higher cashback from other sites)

TopCashBack is much better, faster payouts, gives you more information, has MUCH better customer support.

+1, you also get bonus topups if you earn cashback regularly. Better tracking too compared to quidco.

i use both. i joined tcb first but started using quidco first. tcb, i found too cluttered n colorful for the eyes. quidco is nice clean webpage wit good eye pleasing fonts. tracking has been equally good. its just a matter of liking as 5quid is not great sum of mony as a deciding factor. use both n see which u like.

Hmm, interesting comment to put on a deals site where savings of only a few pence are considered consequential by many.
