Cats allowed out in the snow?????

£0.00 @
I've been told in the past not to let your cat out in the snow because they lose their scent trail. Is this a load of ******** or should I keep my cat in? Chris. x

Mine are out loving it. :)

Cats don't tend to wander far if they are well fed and content so no need for worry.

Is your cat still chucking snow on your work? Hehe

My cat would never go out in the snow but would happily sit inside and watch it fall.

Our poor little cat isnt allowed out at the moment, she is being spayed tomorrow (weather permitting) then it will be a couple more weeks before she finally ventures out into the big bad world, so she is sat here watching the snow....wish her well for tomorrow...her dads gonna worry sick whilst she has her little operation! lol.

I have a white cat but he's just had his second ear taken off due to cancer:x
Cost me 235 quid just for one ear, but he's worth every penny :)

Thanks for the well wishes guys, I am sure she will be fine its a necessity to have her done, she is also going to be micro chipped and have a feline AIDS test at the same time just in case (highly unlikely but she was as stray brought into the cats protection league...so no knowledge of mother background)

SO sorry to hear about your little fella SpoiltPrincess, glad to hear though you still have your one companion cat there.:)

I've tried suntan lotion , he hates it especially on his nose, he starts rolling in all the dust and washes it all off

Now deceased last March (but lived to a ripe old age of 21!) parents cat had the same problem with skin cancer on the ear tip, its common with white tipped unfortunately, poor mite had to have his done twice as the first time they didnt trim enough of it away, a couple of years later he was without all of his ear tip....still looked darned cute for the last 9 years of his life though :)

Aww thank you but i don't have her either, she's with my parents. We also helped a stray, she was in a really bad condition. Wanted to look after her but she was very old and didn't want my daughter to get attached.

Its ok, hurt like hell when they lost him, he had a long happy life though, but yeah to have known that cat since school, college, university then through to work is a long time!

But me and the wife have our own kitty now to concentrate on here and she has helped that longing for a cat :)
