Never made it before but did a quick google search and found this...

1 head cauliflower or flowerets

2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
Dash of salt and pepper
3/4 c. Cheddar cheese, grated

Cook whole cauliflower or flowerets in boiling water, salted. Cover for 15 minutes or until tender. Drain, place in serving dish and cover with cheese sauce.
SAUCE: Blend butter and flour together, add hot milk and boil until thickened. Add seasonings and cheese, and continue to heat, stirring constantly until cheese is melted.

Included amount of cauliflower so you can gauge how much you need to make

If that helps at all (Is in tbsp and cup rather than weight...)...

No problem, glad I could help.

Not sure if anyone has any better receipes though...
Use a non stick pan, that's a good recipe:)
I always do 1 x heaped tbsp butter and 1 heaped tbsp flour and half a pint of milk.

The amount of cheese is dependant on how cheesy you like it :)

An alternative is to mix a tin of tuna in with the cheese sauce. It's lovely with sweetcorn and mash...!
Don't forget the spoon full of sugar!

(to keep this medicine down)
well it smells nice! taste test at dinner! thanks for replying everyone.x
