1. whats the best way of doing this
2. how cheap will it it be
3. wtf is a thermal printer and how does it work?

1. Have a look at the Canon Pixma range of printers. Epson also have suitable inkjet printers. (I use a Canon Pixma, it doesn't print as good as original CDs, but it's pretty damn good quality:thumbsup:)

2. You can pick up a suitable printer for £200 or even less - have a look on Ebay for a bargain.

3. A thermal printer works by 'fixing' colours to whatevers being printed on by using heat.

Try the Epson Stylus Photo R285 Printer With Individual Ink Cartridges. I use it to print wedding dvds and church dvds. It does a good job and cost about £50, has individual print cartridges which can be easily (cheap clones) bought and you only have to buy the cartridge thats empty.

most of the epson r200 range done this, cartridges were alwayd cheap. so go for a 2nd hand one in this range or go to epson see whats new and then check price of compatible carts
