Center Parcs - Whinfell Forest

Were planning a break to Center Parcs Whinfell Forest. Part of the booking process allows you to select which area of the forest and lodge you want to stay at. Obviously you pay more the closer to the village centre you are. Can anyone recommend the best part of the village to stay at and maybe even a lodge number? There will be 2 adults and one 2 year old. We've been looking at a 2 bed new style lodge. Thanks!

isn't there any thing else you spend your money on?

Personally, I never choose my villa number.

Center Parcs resorts are all located in forests, so it's not like it's a horrible walk to wherever you want to go.

Just let them choose, I've never been disappointed with the location of any of my villas.

whinfell is a bit hilly so £15 might be well spent when booking bearing in mind getting the little one around in pushchair or bike look on map on their site to see where suits you with your activites ect sorry we have never stayed in two beds so can not reccomend

I was thinking of maybe spending my money on grammar lessons but it would appear you need them more.. Unless you have anything constructive to say may I suggest you just 'Jog On'..

I have been with the family a number of times and have always had a great time. We have always been in a property on the edge of those available but even then the walk is fine with the paths available.... and most are suitable for prams.

Save your money for the activities etc that you can book. Restaurants can be expensive.
