central heating/boiler query
hey guys
just looking for some advice before I call out the plumber.
my boiler seems to be working fine in terms of hot water but the central heating wont turn on. we have a danfoss RX1 system where the infra red receiver is connected to the boiler and the 'remote' which controls the temp/programming is in another room.
what normally happens is that when the desired temp has been slected on the remote, the reciever makes a click noise and the boiler kicks into action turning on the central heating.
as of yesterday, the receiver does not seem to pick up the message from the remote which does show on the screen ive switched it on for the c/h to kick in.
i took off the receiver thinking the fuse might have gone but it does not seem to have a fuse, not a conventional one anyway. its just a circuit board inside which is conected to some wiring attached to the wall.
link in the next post on the system im talking about. again, the hot water is working meaning the boiler seems to be working fine but im hoping i just need to get a new reciever.

the ones above is the one i have. any advice on what might be the issue?
Knowledgeable, if a little judgmental

remotes not the problem. that shows the display just fine. receiver is not picking up the signal from the remote.
normally,i just press on the remote the desired temp and the receiver makes a click noise and on comes the boiler. the click noise is not happening so it seems the boiler does not receive the message to switch on.
working fine till yesterday evening.

yeah, enough pressure,or the pressure its supposed to be as ive been advised, between 1 and 2.
the remote shows a little flame icon to denote that the c/h should be on when you have reached the deisred temp. It could be the remote but seeing that it displays things on the screen, i assumed it was the receiver and not the remote.
though,it seems if i have to buy another set, they both come together as a pair.
much appreciated guys for your contributions anyway.
thanks

Mine did the samething, water ok "then could not trun on boiler, remote looked ok i popped the batteries out, new ones in and bingo.
If the old battery in the remote was showing the screen digits yet the radiator could not on then I might just try that.
also on the hard wired receiver there should be a button that can manually toggle the heating on and off - does thta work?

and the middle channel button CH2 is the emergency ON button - try that - to be use when RF comms fails
