CENTRAL HEATING OIL @ 37.9p a litre

Anyone that has oil central heating will be giving a slight sigh of relief as the price has come down since the summer when it topped 64.9p a litre
When buying oil in 1000Litres that is a big jump.

Today the price is stable but opec are talking about cutting back production of crude oil to try and increase the price. At the moment it is $50 a barrel.

So advise anyone with oil central heating to top up your tank.

Depends if it runs on Paraffin or not. Just looked on wiki and apparently they used it in tractors after WW2:lol:

Just checked with the old man (a specialist diesel mechanic), and you can diesel cars on this, but they don't run that well. I'll stick to the veggie oil then :-D

Might find this chart useful - As a guide at least - Select the Avg and Min as Max is way over the top - Tend to find you can get it nearer the min
