Is it possible ot purchase a box or whatever, to change a normal (old style) TV into a Digital one without having to buy a complety new digitial TV?

If the CRT TV has a SCART socket then you just need a freeview settop box. if it only has an old aerial inout then there are some settop boxes around that have an output.

yeh, buy a freeview/freesat box or subscribe to virgin media or sky.

As above most freeview boxes have scart and rf out
