Changing phone mid-way through contract?

About 6 months ago I signed a new Vodofone contract for 24months. It was a really stupid decision and I wish I didnt do it but I'm stuck with it.

In a few months the iPhone will be coming to Vodafone and Im interested in getting one. My question is whether I will be able to change from my current phone to a new iPhone. I know if its possible I will have to pay for the handset, but I just want to know if its possible first.

Any help is appreciated :)

With 3 you can upgrade to a more expensive contract anytime as long as it starts from scratch again, ie a new 18month/2 year contract. I imagine it will be the same with Vodaphone after all they're getting more out of you.

no you cant, well my nepwhew couldnt and dont know of any company that will allow this, if your on a 24 month contract they will usually allow you to upgrade to a new contract from month 18

I think you can sass. Remenber I'm talking about a more expensive contract. You think they'll turn their nose up at extra money/for longer?

Edit: maybe you're right though because you still have to pay for the 1st contracts 'free' phone? Hadn't thought of that tbh

Now, where's me coat..................

I wanted the iphone but I didnt want to pay about £35 p/m for 24 months plus about £89 for the phone. So I looked out for a cheaper contract, the HTC Hero is a great smart phone running with andoid with many apps to choose, at a cheaper price. I got mine at £25 p/m for 800min 500 texts and unlimited texts for 18 months which I thought was good but some people got it down to £21.50 with T-mobile. Not too sure what vodafone offer.

Be careful if you put your old sim into a new iphone as you wont have a data allowance and they will sting you when you start using some of the apps on the iphone.
